“Before silence was silent, and before the day was old, I stood peerless.

Watching.

Enjoying.

Each moment, a breath.

Each breath,

All of it.

I stood still until kinetics put the beings of eternity to rest.

To herd a curl requires fancy footing; taking the shape of another, of what it is.

I walk as their caretaker, the beings in Light.

This home is above, and we are between.

Everything else are the sights yet un-seen.”

Mr. Smiley bore the illumination of the universe. First, they entered the day of the clear part of this delightful play. Few sat in the dark at the footsteps of Infinity. Fewer yet, those who directed the early displays, which happened without applause. The first waves which rose from the deep carried the breath of the arranged and entropically released. In the 11th hour, as the tides pulled closely, a hint of the light shone through the depth of the night. Two pinhole eyes and a smile to boot.

“It was my time, time to shine through the through.

Up did I lift, my hand with my scythe and stirred I the great soup to and fro.

I did twice.

Now great waves bend to no one, and greedily they bite.

An axis starts to grow here.

What's wrong? Or, What's right?

Long had we waited, longer yet had we slept at the gates yet arrived.

Out came the secrets they kept.

Tumbling led to a wedding bed,

ripping forth the screaming conception

of the bright silver thread.”

The first of its kind, it brought with it colour. And with no thoughts in his mind. Mr. Smiley's grin crept to the highest of heights, as he watched creation born from the night. A long yellow digit traced over the light as it curled. This mark, the apple of their eye.
